HOW HE BECAME A PHILLIE: Drafted by the Phillies in the second round of the 2013 Draft. 

2017 NOTES: Named the 13th best prospect in the Phillies organization by Philly Baseball Insider.

2016 NOTES: Opened the season with Lehigh Valley… Named to the IL team for the Triple-A All-Star Game.

2015 NOTES: Opened the season at Clearwater, where he hit .262 in 63 games… Promoted to Reading on June 14, where he played for the remainder of the season, hitting 11-56-.360/.419/.631 in 55 games… Selected to play in the Arizona Fall League… Given the Paul Owens Award as the best position player in the Phillies minor league system.

2014 NOTES: Opened the season in extended camp, rehabbing from Tommy John surgery… Reassigned to Clearwater on May 7th and then reassigned to Lakewood on June 22nd… Hit safely in 55 of his 75 games with the BlueClaws… Had a 15-game hitting streak from June 26-July 11, during which he hit .313… Participated in the Florida Instructional League.

2013 NOTES: Started his pro career with Williamsport… Finished the season tied for first in the NYPL in doubles (20)… Phillies Minor League Player of the Week for the week of August 26-September 1… Participated in the Florida Instructional League… Had Tommy John surgery on his right elbow on October 4th.
